Author Visit

We were so lucky to have Michelle Nelson-Schmidt come visit CPES. She is the author of the book, Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster. She shared her story with the children and then read them a story. Pumpkins, pumpkins, everywhere!

The children did a fantastic job on their pumpkin reports!! Big thanks to you, parents, for taking the time to help your child on these! We haven't had a chance to share them yet, but I know the children will do amazing when we do! Until then... here are the pictures of the adorable pumpkin characters!

We talked about authority and elections. The children voted on a class President and Vice President! Congratulations Ellie and Kaden!

 The children are loving the AMSTI math program! They really get a chance to get hands on with the math.

Last week, we learned about buoyancy. We did a fun experiment to see what kind of candy is buoyant, yum!
