Right before our Thanksgiving break, the children learned about life in colonial America. They then worked in groups to complete a project on different aspects of colonial America compared to present day America. They created what I like to think of as a page from a nonfiction text, complete with a heading, pictures, captions, and facts about their topics. The topics ranged from clothing to school! Check out the kids working so hard as a team!
The finished projects. I am so proud of the students and all of the hard work they put into these!! |
The kids got a little crafty right before the Thanksgiving holiday and had fun making their own silly turkeys!
They looked great hanging from the ceiling! |
